Fishy Ceramics is the tile and ceramics practice of Isabel Kennedy — currently developing a series of tiles inspired by Mumbai. The work sits at the intersection of craft, spirituality, and luxury design.
Each tile series is built around the energy of a person. Star signs, numerology, tarot, and the objects that hold meaning for you are woven into carved tile designs — then silicon-moulded so the master can be reproduced at whatever scale your space calls for.
Think a powder room tiled entirely in your own geometry. A wall hanging that holds your energy. A repeating pattern that is, quietly and completely, yours.

Isabel is currently developing a tile series inspired by the city of Mumbai — drawing on the visual culture of South Bombay, the decorative traditions of the city's old buildings, and the layers of a place that holds everything at once.
The series is being developed for luxury residential and hospitality interiors in Mumbai — working with interior designers and homeowners who want surfaces with genuine craft and individual character.

From that conversation, the tile is designed. A master tile is carved by hand — a unique piece that holds the essence of what emerged. Once the master is made, you choose the scale of your project.
A single framed tile. A small series. A full powder room installation. The master is silicon-moulded and reproduced at whatever quantity your space calls for — from an intimate wall hanging to a complete architectural surface.

The design. A tile design is developed from that conversation. You see it before anything is made.

The master. One master tile is carved by hand — your energy, in clay.
Step four
Your scale. One tile, a small series, or a full installation. The master is moulded and reproduced accordingly.
Alongside individual tile commissions, Isabel runs corporate ceramics workshops — using clay and tile-making as a medium for leadership development, team connection, and creative intelligence.
These aren't art classes. They're leadership experiences that happen to use clay — drawing on Isabel's background as both a ceramicist and executive coach. Teams leave with a different understanding of themselves and each other.
